4th of July 2009

We had a lot of fun at the 4th this year. The parade wasn't that exciting this year but the kids sure did have a good time. They call it the "Hip Hip Parade". It sure doesn't take too much to make these kids happy. A little candy and a whole lot of cousins, what more could they ask for!

We were trying to get a picture of all the girl cousins together but Thatcher just had to join in.

After the Parade

After the parade we usually go to the pond and hang out while the kids swim. The last two years we have had the Ponds/Ballards come hang out too. Hopefully we have started our own little tradition in doing this. Ben gets to do cowboy stuff with Rhett and Melissa and I get to catch up with each other. It is just nice to have time to spend together. I really hope we get to do this every year. Here are a few pictures of our afternoon.

The Pond

One of the best things about Summertime in Eagar is hanging out at the pond. It is always fun when we can cookout there and sit back and relax while the kids run and play (as long as they are behaving that is). The summer nights are so cool and refreshing and you can't beat the view!!
