Rhett got the best birthday present ever this year and it wasn't even from me. Brooks let Rhett take his corvette for the day and Rhett got to drive around and take just about everyone he knew who would love the car for a ride and then we went on a date. It was allot of fun but I know I will never fully grasp just how much fun it was for Rhett. I kept telling him he was like a kid in a candy shop because of how excited he was. Oh the things that make us happy sometimes!!!
Rhett and Thatcher going for a ride. Thatcher wanted a ride so bad. I just thought, he is only 2 why would he be so excited about a car? I guess boy's will be boy's no matter what age.

I don't know much about cars, but I do LOVE the color of that car! Soooo pretty!!
We were over at Brook and Dallas's the other night and they were telling us all about "the car". It was so funny I couldn't stop laughing thinking about Rhett and Dallas riding in the car giggling like little boys. How fun!
I showed Chris this post and he just stared for quite awhile and would make an occasional comment like" that is the new corvette" and then moments later" it has a lot of power" so on and so forth. I think he was a little in awe. So thank you Rhett for letting Chris live vicariously through you.
