Christmas 2009

We had Christmas with the Brown's this year. We had a wonderful Christmas and had so much fun with the kids getting older and seeing how much they enjoy the traditions and time spent with family. On Christmas Eve Grandpa Brown always read the Christmas story out of the scriptures and then The Night Before Christmas book which if very entertaining. He has his only little twist he throws in at certain parts of the book that make us laugh. After we read we load everyone up in the car and drive around to look at Christmas lights. Then we go back home and have some sparkling cider or eggnog in the fancy glasses, set out stocking and head off to bed. Luckily the kids slept in til about 6:30 Christmas morning, as far as we know anyway.

Grandpa reading the Night Before Christmas.

Grandma playing Christmas songs while we sang.

The girls got a Karaoke machine for Christmas. Saydie wants to be a rock star so we thought it was appropriate.

Chesley wanted the 5th Percy Jackson book so bad. I had him convinced I hadn't gotten it so when he opened it he screamed with joy, ran over and gave me the biggest hug ever!

Looking lovely on Christmas morning.

Grandma and Grandpa wearing their Christmas gifts.

Taylor posing with all of her Christmas gifts on her.

Saydie wasn't feeling well so she was all comfy in Grandpas new chair.

While everyone was opening gifts Thatcher was in the kitchen eating the orange out of his stocking. He had all the orange peals lined up on the counter.

Lovin' the orange peels! That's one cute kiddo you've got there. Actually, they're all pretty darn cute. Awesome pics. Looks like a great Christmas.
