Today we had my mom, Joelle, Sydney and Taylor come over for the day and go with us to church. After church we had hot wings and ceasar salad w/croutons for dinner because Taylor loves those things and talks about how when she gets home she is going to have Joelle make her the hot wings and Sydney make her the salad. She is so funny. She gets something on her mind and she won't let it go. She also wants my mom to make her a chocolate pie because she didn't get to have any on Thanksgiving. The kids love having all of their aunts around to play with them and give them lots of attention. Chesley even made Taylor a Christmas card at church today. He is so sweet and thoughtful always. I was finally able to get pictures off of my moms camera so here they are!
Oh yeah, she also gets to go home on Christmas Eve!!! She will have to come back to the valley for her outpatient therapy but is just excited to be home for Christmas.

Thanks so much for the pictures and updates! My kids take piano from your mom and they've missed her lots and have been worried about Taylor. They pray for her every night.
We went to the hospital right before Thanksgiving, just when Taylor was starting to wake up. What a wonderful miracle to see her doing so well. Give your mom our love!

She looks so good -- but too skinny! It's so good to see these pictures. Thank you so much for sharing. Your Mom needs to take her that Chocolate pie so that she can put some weight back on. I'm so glad she gets to be home for Christmas. What a magical Christmas it will be for her.

I've been really bad about keeping up with blogging, so I apologize, I just read about Taylor. How scary! It's frustrating how the docs just can't tell you much at first. But it sounds like she's doing great. I worked in a rehab hospital before I had the twins and we got patients with traumatic brain injuries all the time. She really sounds like she's progressing quickly - which is a great sign. She looks really good too - even with the eye patch! Tell her to "keep up the good work - and don't be too hard on your therapists!"
