We had a great Christmas last year! I guess it is better late than never. I keep thinking life will slow down a little and then maybe I can catch up on everything I need to do, but it hasn't so I guess I will stop waiting and start doing. G-ma and Bonka were so good to us this Christmas. They had a lot of fun stuff planned and too much really good food. We even had a bit of snow. On Christmas Eve we went to the barn and had the kids reinact the manger scene as Bonka read it from the scriptures. It was cold but really neat. Trying to get the kids to bed on Christmas Eve was a joke. I think it was probably about midnight when they finally fell asleep. When I heard the kids up looking at their presents so excited, all of them, I looked at the clock to see it was only 3:30 a.m. I was so cranky and told them to get back in bed and went back to bed myself thinking surely Rhett would put them back in bed. A few minutes later I realize everyone else is awake and we are going to open presents. We must be crazy. Never again. We had tired cranky kids all day long. Next year they are for sure going back to bed!
We are always sad when it is time to come home. We love being in Eagar and spending time with our families. It will be so nice one day if we could find a way to call Eagar home!

What a great Christmas! I love the idea of having the manger scene in the barn! Wow, that would be great. Maybe we'll have to steal that idea sometime. So glad Taylor got to be home :)
so much fun! Your kids are such cuties. I decided a long time ago if I wanted to stay married to Richie I had to get over him being so fearless. I don't worry half as much anymore. It does scare me that my kids are fearless though!
Sounds like you had a good Christmas and yes CRAZY for getting up at 3:30! Wish we were there to celebrate with you. And love you background :)
Looks like you had such a fun Christmas. I totally understand what you are saying when kids wake up early. Easton is the one that woke us up early. He got so excited. Making Eager home would be so fun for you. I too miss being home. Maybe one day.
Wow! Your kids are getting SO big. Of course they are beautiful. We miss you guys. If you want a vacation, we are offering free room and board. We'd love to have you. One mile from the beach and about 30 minutes from Disney.
LeeAnne,
You have the cutest kids and I love their names! Glad to hear Taylor is doing better:)
